In the shelf replenishment solution developed for ETRA, customers place orders simply by scanning NFC cards at the reader device. The scanned orders are automatically sent to ETRA’s system for processing and delivery.
If a card is missing from the shelf location, it means that the item has already been ordered. During the next restocking visit, the ETRA representative returns the previously scanned cards to their shelf locations.
Order data can be viewed through a dedicated web interface, which allows users to track order progress and view statistics. Key benefits of the system include ease of ordering, fast replenishment, visual clarity — and the elimination of unnecessary inspection visits.
The compact reader is easy to install. The ordering terminal is delivered by mail and requires only a power connection to begin reading orders.
