Case Paroc Panel System Oy: Pallets with glass wool batts, identification for forklifts
RFID tags are attached to pallets. Pallets with glass wool batts come from the adjacent property from a supplier. In addition to the EPC code on the tag, the user memory is also used to identify the pallet.
The glass wool supplier has encoded a pallet on the production line. Type, weight, number of the items and the time stamp are stored in the user memory of the tag. The pilot light reports to the truck driver a successful reading. Reading the tag on the truck gives information about the incoming pallets and their contents.
The incoming information is used as the basis for billing.
